We are in the world of corruption. Corruption is like a cancer, which spreads all through within a short period of time since 1990’s. Thus we see in all spheres of life the magnetic hands of corruption. It flourishes under democracy in India and under an authoritarian regime in China. Corruption had been denounced by ancient times; by Jesus of Nazareth, by Confucius of China, by Kautilya of India and by Cicero of Rome. In 1947, Dr. Radhakrishnan, the second president of India declared: “unless we destroy corruption in high places, nepotism and black marketing, we will not be able to raise the efficiency in administration as well as production”. The present president of India Prathibha Patil said, “corruption is the enemy of development and good governance”.
The whole concept of education is to bring out a generation away from corruption, anarchy and nepotism. Viswaprakash Central School with its motto, Tamasoma Jyothir Gamaya would like to enkindle the light of truth in the children who are formed under us. Our ideas were always inspired by Jesus, the savior of the mankind. He showed us the way to conquer the world. Inspired by his thoughts and ideals, Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation brought out a genuine concept of non-corruption. We, the staff and students of Viswaprakash Central School strive to reach to the noble ideals of great masters. The name of the school is Viswaprakash and the aim of the school is to brighten and enlighten the lives of all those who enter its portals. Inspired by one of the greatest teachers of all time Jesus Christ, the school aims at helping each individual identify strengths and hidden talents and then help them develop those talents. The school also helps students to grow as responsible citizens of the nation and the world and to live and spread the message of universal brotherhood in a world walled by narrow nationalism. The motivation provided by the management together with the dedication of teachers and the blessings of the Almighty Father the school has been able to give light to all.
