School Motto
The mantra, “Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya”, from Brhadaranyaka Upanishad is the motto of the School. It literally means “Lead me from darkness to light.” The darkness and light, are ignorance and knowledge, respectively. This is so because ignorance, like darkness, obscures true understanding. And in the same way that the only remedy for darkness is light, the only remedy for ignorance is knowledge.
School Song
Door of my heart,
Door of my heart,
Open wide I keep for you,
Open wide I keep for you,
Will Thou come, Will Thou Come
Will Thou come, come to me?
Door of my heart,
Door of my heart…
Will my days fly away,
Without seeing you, my Lord?
Will Thou come, Will Thou Come
Will Thou come, come to me?
Door of my heart,
Door of my heart…..
Night and day, night and day
I’m waiting for you night and day
Will Thou come, Will Thou Come
Will Thou come, come to me?
Door of my heart,
Door of my heart,
Door of my heart…..!
